Job Description:

As an Application Security Specialist at ACCREVENT, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications. You will assess vulnerabilities, implement security best practices, and collaborate with development teams to create secure, scalable software solutions.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
  • Implement security controls to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Work with development teams to integrate security into the software lifecycle.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and compliance requirements.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and security best practices.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in application security or cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP, secure coding practices, and threat modeling.
  • Experience with security tools like Burp Suite, Fortify, or Qualys.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps principles.
